Coverage

What's covered, and what isn't yet.

Knotes follows the seven PPL (Aeroplane) theory subjects on SACAA's exam entry form. Notes are published one subject at a time, starting with Air Law. This page shows where each subject stands, as of 15 October 2026.

Not covered

Restricted Radiotelephony certificate

You also need a Restricted Radiotelephony certificate for your PPL. It's a separate SACAA requirement with its own exam, and Knotes doesn't cover it. Ask your flight school how they prepare you for it.

Short topic videos are planned, but none are available yet.

A study aid

A study aid, not SACAA-endorsed

Knotes is not approved or endorsed by SACAA, and it is not official training. The notes are written by a student pilot, not an instructor. Always verify against the current regulations and with your instructor.
